VIVISECTION résulte d’une performance pour microphone electret, circuit d’alimentation, enregistreur numérique, étau, pince, cutter et couteau.
Réalisée à deux reprises, elle existe désormais sous la forme de deux séquences d’échantillons numériques.
VIVISECTION est un temps qui s’écoule vers quelque chose d’indéterminé, une recherche qui détruit son objet, à l’écoute de l’irréversible. C’est un document qui ne fait preuve que dans l’absence. C’est le témoin et la victime, l’instrument et l’objet d’une mesure. Une composition entre deux états.

VIVISECTION is the result of a performance for electret microphone, power supply circuit, digital recorder, vice, pliers, cutter and knife.
Realized twice it is now in the form of two sequences of digital samples.
VIVISECTION is a time that flows towards something indeterminate, a research that destroys its object, while listening to the irreversible. It is a document that only testifies in the absence. It is the witness and the victim, the instrument and the object of a measure. It is a composition between two states.

Les phonographies issues de la performance sont publiées par VIBRATVACUUM sous la forme d'un CD-R. La pochette a été pensée comme un objet utopique, la reconstitution d'une boîte qui aurait à l'origine été entièrement close, puis dégradée, et enfin « réparée ». Le texte et la forme sont complétés (devinés) dans les trous, les contours d'une absence, qui se veulent la preuve d'un chose qui n'a peut-être jamais été là.

Phonographies from the performance are published by VIBRATVACUUM as a CD-R. The packing has been designed as a utopian object, the reconstruction of a wrap that would originally have been entirely closed, then degraded, and finally "repaired". The text and form are fulfilled (guessed) through the holes, the contours of an absence, which want to attest of a thing that perhaps has never been there.
